What we collect

When you apply for or hold a trade account we collect business and contact details (names, phone numbers, email and delivery addresses), account and order history, trade references and the signature on your application. We don't keep copies of identity documents. This website doesn't use advertising or tracking cookies.

Why we use it

To decide on and run your trade account, deliver your orders, send invoices and statements, collect payment and keep the records the law requires, for example for VAT. We rely on the contract with your business and on our legitimate interest in running trade accounts safely, including credit checks.

Who we share it with

Only those who need it: credit reference agencies and the references you give us, our accountants and IT providers, delivery staff, and debt collectors or solicitors if an account isn't paid. We never sell your information.

Marketing

If you ask to receive offers, we send price lists and offers by email or WhatsApp. Tell us at any time and we'll stop.

How long we keep it

While your account is open, then for six years after the last transaction, for tax and legal reasons. Declined applications are deleted after twelve months.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your information, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it. Contact us using the details above. If you're unhappy, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
